The Mancave
Inspired by men, designed for men, mostly used by groups of women!
The following information is given for those who want to stay overnight rather than for those who intend to use it as an activity space (i.e. escape room, mystery dinner, or for a yoga class etc.). If you wish to plan an activity during your overnight stay, please let us know, and we will walk you through how to book it for the date(s) you need.
About This Space
The Mancave has operated since 2016 as a secret hideout for a large group traveling through Downtown St. Louis! Up to 20 people will be able to stay in the Mancave a modern hostel-style 4,500-square-foot unit perfect for reunions, bachelor parties, groups attending conventions, and kids' birthday getaways.
Stream your favorite shows on Netflix/DirecTVNow after a night on the town - you'll be within walking distance to the Enterprise Center, Busch Stadium, Convention Center, and The Gateway Arch! Pack your bags and descend to the Mancave for your next reunion or special event! This specially themed unit is an ideal retreat for all of your St. Louis pursuits.
After exploring the city, relax on the large couches in front of the Roku TV and Xbox. Or skip the shows and chat with the Amazon Echo or have it play you some music, tell you a joke or play some meditation music!
You'll be able to cook with ease in the fully equipped kitchen boasting stainless steel appliances that include a refrigerator with ice+water dispenser, dishwasher, stove, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. Chill out by the pool table that's near the foosball and the dry bar area, or gather at the banquet-style table to share a large feast together. Or you could skip at-home dining and walk to any number of nearby restaurants for great local eats! When it's time to turn in, at the end of a fuzzy evening in the city, head for bed in one of the 4 full-over-full bunk beds in the main living area.

Beds & Bathrooms
The Mancave is made up of two large spaces. First you walk into the bar and games area, which has a pool table, foosball and free weights. The laundry room and the 'womens' locker room is adjacent to this. Then you walk into the main space, where you'll discover the TV area and 4 full bunk beds to the right and large kitchen and dining area to the left. The 'mens' locker room is behind the kitchen. Behind the bunk beds are curtained changing areas if people don't want to use the locker rooms. The TV area has two sofa sleepers, one queen and one full.
There are 8 full mattresses and 2 queen mattress in this space. There are 2 private showers, a triple communal shower, 3 toilets, 1 urinal and plenty of lockers. The women's locker room has a nice mirrored area for trying on a suit or dress. The maximum occupancy is therefore 20, but if nobody wishes to sleep with anyone else, the occupancy is 10. The space is 4,000 square feet in size, and the property was built in 1884.

Check-in/out Instructions
Check-in is after 3 PM.
The access webpage will be sent to guests who have a confirmed reservation the day before check-in. 24 hours before your scheduled arrival, please contact your hosts to coordinate your arrival time and receive additional check-in instructions, if they haven't contacted you already. Key cards to access the building after hours can be found inside the unit upon arrival.
If you plan to arrive on a weekday, please check-in before 7 PM, and for weekend arrivals you must check-in before 5 PM. If you're unable to arrive before that time, don't worry, we have special ways of getting you into the space (for example, if your flights were delayed or some other unforeseen reason). Please inform the hosts of any problems or concerns upon arrival, so we can work to address these immediately.

- Removing all perishable items, if in open containers
- Loading and starting the dishwasher if full
- Stripping linens from all used beds, and leave them in a pile on the floor by the bed
- Please leave the TV and console remotes near the TV
- Turn off all lights, electronics, and appliances
- Turn off the heating or cooling
- Close and lock the main entrance door to the space
House Rules
- No smoking and no drug use, even if it's legal to do so. Many children use these spaces and we cannot have them smelling odd. It just wouldn't be fair to families.
- No pets allowed in this space sorry, but we do have other spaces that do allow pets, and we can even bring you a dog bed and dog-rug.
- No parties or large gatherings - smaller events or gatherings considered with prior homeowner approval (please just ask us for additional information).
- No kegs or excessive alcohol.
- The person booking must be at least 21 years old, and there must always be a 21+ year old present in the space when any other group members are in the space.
- Photo ID may be required upon check-in.
- Observe quiet hours from 6am-8pm Monday to Friday, and 8am-6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Please report any damages that occur to the hosts.

Parking
There are plenty of parking garages and parking lots within a 1 block radius all around the building. Many of our guests actually use the pay lot to the rear (south) of the building. In addition there are plenty of street meters. Please note however, that your booking does NOT include any parking whatsoever. Street parking is free after 7:00 pm weekdays and all day Sunday.
